Raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico by Sicilian-born parents, I grew up fascinated by language, translation, and the expression of culture. The granddaughter of a poet, I employ text as a means of play.

My academic background in history & law has informed my artistic practice, inviting explorations of speech in flux, collective memory, and the relationship between individuality and universality/community.

My work as an artist seeks to uncover possibility, to honor the boldness of sincerity, and to create space for wonder, discovery, and common ground.
